Sankei-en, Yokohama

Sankei-en is a traditional Japanese-style garden in Naka Ward, Yokohama, that opened in 1906. Almost all of its buildings are historically significant structures brought from locations all over the country.

I find Japanese gardens are always so tranquil and beautiful, and very zen ... nice shot of the garden showing the traditional Japanese houses surrounded by the landscaped garden and the trees. V

Such a pretty image. Wish I had known about this place the last time that I was in Japan. I would have spent more time in Yokohama than I did. I love history.
