The Ellerndorf juniper heath lies between the towns of Eimke and Wriedel in the Uelzen district. With an area of almost 70 hectares, it is the largest contiguous heathland in the east of the Lüneburg Heath. No matter what time of year: a visit to the Ellerndorf juniper heath is always a wonderful experience. The gently rolling landscape with the dark green junipers is a classic motif of the Lüneburg Heath. From the hills you have a wonderful view.
