These gentlemen were waiting, in a 1911 National Indy Racer, to start the race in a downpour. Hmmm…. wet track, many turns, skinny tires on wooden wheels, almost useless breaks, in a 100+ year old automobile. I can respect that. As it turned out, the race was cancelled due to poor conditions.
