Mowing the lawn is a big deal here. We are one of two houses on the block without a lawn service to take care of mowing. Ginny likes to do it herself for two reasons. First, she gets it just like she wants it (and I am allowed only to do the trimming and leaf blowing.) Second, she gets exercise which is important to her. So we did the lawn today. It had to be today because we have a week of rain coming and we leave for two weeks next Tuesday. Our lawn really needs to be cut only every two weeks or so. When we get back there will be almost three weeks since it was cut. It will be thick, but manageable.
