Olivia Apps was 7 years old when diagnose with alopecia universalis, an extreme form of the autoimmune condition with hair lost from every part of the body. She is captain of the Silver Medal winning Canadian Rugby team at the 2024 Olympics in Paris,France. She chooses not to wear a wig.
