This my attempt at an artsy-fartsy photo of Lismore Castle in Ireland. It was started in 1185 and has been occupied and enlarged ever since. It is currently the Irish home of the Duke of Devonshire. Since it is an occupied residence, there are no tours of the inside. There was a nice garden, however. The photo is taken from the stables in the garden. BTW - Famous scientist Robert Boyle was born at Lismore Castle in 1627. Remember Boyle's law: PV=nRT. I didn't think you did.
