Tourism is becoming the plaque it is all over the world in some of the good Istanbul mosques, where large parts now are out of bounds for the photography-minded tourist. Luckily I had been here often under better conditions, in 2024 I mainly came to take some wide-angle shots of the ceiling. Then, to my delight, I was invited to take pictures from the gallery, where I had never been. That I did.
