Happy 4th of July!

We haven’t gone to see the fireworks in person for a long time, even though we live only 11 blocks from the Capitol, but rather just enjoy them on TV, where you get a variety of great views of the display.

I used to love the fireworks shows but am into them way less lately. Best show ever was several years ago in Boston for July 4th when I was visiting my sister and her family. Nothing like celebrating with a few hundred thousand "friends".

Haha! Happy 4th of July to you. Same here. I haven't gone to watch and experience the New Year Countdown Fireworks Display in Singapore at Marina Bay for many years now. Wary of the crowds and the crush, and getting out of the jam-packed area after the show is a nightmare! Watch it on TV in the comfort of our home is more appealing, for 'oldies' like me ... V
