the decline of butterflies in our area continues. Finally, I am able to see a few here and there, but no comparison to previous years.

A beautiful and sharp butterfly capture. We had the same issues with the decline of Monarch butterflies. But, it has been noticed that they are making a comeback. Hope the same happens in your area.

This is a stunning butterfly and superb catch of it. It is sobering to hear of the decline of butterflies, but I am afraid they are nowhere near present in numbers here either, not like the old days not so long ago. VV
