Dave, I took a lot of photos from the boat rides on Lake Como. Perhaps too many, but I only got one chance at them. There are many many beautiful villas on the lake - my understanding is that most of the really big ones are owned by the ultra rich from outside Italy. I have done a first sort through them, and will have to do more if I decide to print a book up our trip.

So you got to see two lakes. That's great. We were in Milan for two nights and on Lake Como for another two. Hard to say whether the food or the scenery was better.

Cuomo (two of them, actually) was the governor of New York.

Dave, Our small group took a small bus from Cuomo to Villa Carlotta, then a private boat to Bellagio for some free time. Then a boat back down to Cuomo where we next went by bus to Stresa where we stayed for 2 nights.
We missed the heavy rains in the region by a week.

I loved Bellagio and need to go through my photos to see if I captured the same or similar view. Did you overnight there or visit via one of the lake ferries? I'll take heat and humidity over rain. It poured while we were eating at one of the waterfront restaurants. The ferries must have been relying on their radar and other navigational aids.

Thanks. I did more "street shots" in Milan.

Re weather - it was quite warm, high 80s, but very very humid. I despise humidity, but I survived.
