My wife and I decided to pack a picnic lumch and stop at Cool Springs after a mid-morning trip to Hamilton, Virginia.
Lots of dog walkers and bikers on the pathways, so we just used the picnic table and had our lunch.
While eating I observed this male bunting perched above the dried up creek bed; so, I got my camera out and took a few shots.
