We are heading off to Ireland for a three week trip. As far as cameras are concerned, I am going to use my iPhone 15 Pro Max and my SX70 HS. I am only taking the latter because of the 1365 mm equivalent zoom lens. So I figured that I would pull the SX 70 out and shoot some pictures. I walked around the yard and found nothing photographically interesting. Then I remembered that a Yellow Crowned Night Heron had been nesting in a pine tree in the front yard. Sure enough the juveniles were in the nest and I wandered about tryhing to get an interesting shot. I settled for today's photo of one of the juveniles giving me the hairy eyeball.
