big leagues

False Creek

never mind playing with toy dune buggies and sports cars, here is remote control's big leagues...this fellow effortlessly drives a small crane that unfolds for a 24 ft (7.3m) reach, and had just been moving large loads of cement

a neat shot! I wonder if he got his start with remote control toys?

Yes, the progress of technology in recent times is amazing. Wonder when they will make a DSLR camera and lens that can, with the touch of a button, fold itself up like a transformer into the size of a cigarette lighter? Cheer.

Wow!
What an incredible way to illustrate the changes in technology!

Nice find and shot. My kind of remote toy.
At work in Germany many years ago I used to play with cranes and forklifts at lunch time.

Very impressive scene. I had no idea such things could be controlled remotely.

An interesting machine. He seems to be pondering what to do.
