Château Léoville Poyferré is a wine estate in the Saint-Julien appellation of Haut-Médoc wine region.
I had to be in the "slow Walkers" group due to my bad hip at the time so I think they chose this winery for us as it didn't have many steps to climb. Not the most impressive building, but the winery has existed since the 1840s.
It doesn't look that old.
The current family that owns it has owned it since the 1920s!
