While driving on M-28 just east of Seney, Michigan, (just before a railroad crossing), spotted a pair of these beautiful cranes on the side of the highway.
Since no one was behind me, I did a u-turn and drove back and parked. Hiked back trying to stay as quiet as possible, but obviously they had spotted me.
Managed several quick shots at what I believe was the male.
