I have been going through our passwords and updating them. We have an Excel spreadsheet with our collection of 385 user IDs and passwords. It has been interesting. I have found email addresses that go back over 25 years. I have found many websites which are defunct. I have also found many where the old userid and password no longer works. There are, of course, many which are still in use. To start out I would log into the website then sort through the menus trying to find out where to update the password. Many times I couldn't find it. Then the light came on in the attic. When I try to log in I enter the userid then click "forgot password." It says it is going to send an email with password update information which is always a direct link to the place to update the password. Enter the new one twice and you are finished. Very efficient.
