St. Nicholas Church, Choir Organ
The Flentrop organ from 1974 was originally built as a study organ for the Netherlands Institute for Church Music on the Plompetorengracht in Utrecht. From its construction until the early 1990s, the organ stood in the concert hall of this institute. It was then moved to the former Remonstrant and later New Apostolic church on the Kromme Nieuwegracht in Utrecht. In recent years, this space has been operated by the Polmanshuis as the Ottone room.At the end of 2006, the organ was transferred to the St. Nicholas Church in Ghent, where it is used as a choir organ.
