Me, Fisheye, and Aurora

Rosser, MB

Not since the 1989 solar maximum releasing an X-Class flare (which caused huge black-outs across Eastern North America) has the Earth's electro-magnetic sphere been so active then on night of May 10, 2024.
Luckily we didn't suffer any major black-outs this time ... yeah, this time. But there were reports of communications, computer, and PNT (Position, Navigation and Timing - the layman would say GPS - the USA's name-brand PNT satellite constellation) interruptions.

History lesson over...
I headed out and inspected my fish-eye lense. Note- behind me is south - and there's light there too!

engrossing, and not just due to the presence of demi-Glenn!!...looking at the dipper and the north star, would have thought that was west behind you..out here the first wavering aurora signs were definitely to the west..
