Sunrise Over The Hayden Valley And The Yellowstone River

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Moments like this make getting up before sunrise for photography, well worth the effort and lost sleep. After a rainy night of camping, the following morning was one of the best mornings we had for photography. From this location we headed toward the Grand Canyon Of The Yellowstone and the canyon falls.

As you know how to make it so well, your remarkable composition leads the gaze, in diagonal, from the path to the lake and up to the smoke or small cloud in the background.
In this subtle morning light, the different levels of trees are perfectly highlighted and the whole palette of greens too.
