Anna Jantar (1950-1980) was one of the most popular and famous Polish singers of the 1970s.
She was killed in the crash of the plane on March 14th 1980, while returning from her US concerts tour.
Together with her, 86 passengers and crew lost their lives, the United States national boxing team among others.
The mural by Adam Zebrowski was painted in April 2023 on the building, where Anna and her husband Jaroslaw Kukulski (a composer and author of her many songs) lived together.
Their only child, a daughter, Natalia Kukulska, is also a very popular singer.
