This is exactly the color in my print picture, but I wasn’t sure how accurate it was after all these years, so I searched for Tahiti sunsets online, and although they vary, a lot of them are in these colors, so that’s what I went with.

In 1987 we stopped in Tahiti on our way home after our two-year posting to Canberra. Needless to say, it was quite a change from Australia and a pleasant interlude before facing life in Washington, DC.
