How many dogs live on Quadra Island?

I don't know, but if I wouldn't be suprised if there
are more than 1,500. The human population is a
little less than 4,000 and a large portion of
those humans have a dog (or two).

There are about 39 million people in Canada and an
estimated 8 million dogs. I suspect that Quadra Island
is at least twice as doggy as the mainland.

We like dogs but we also like to travel. So cats instead. But I grew up with lots of dogs around. I love the reflections in this photo. V

My dog would fit right in, it seems to be a wonderful place.

I think I'll move to Quadra Island, I would be comfortable there with all those dogs.

What a great place to live. Some of my best friends are dogs or are "owned" by dogs.

Anyone that lives there is lucky, for the beauty, the small population, and the dogs!
