In Pictures: 192 arrested in nightclub raids

A total of 192 people – including 68 foreigners – were arrested yesterday in 2 major nightclub raids.

On April 5, 2024, the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Police Force, led by Major General Sithy Lod and coordinated by Mr. Keut Vannareth, Prosecutor of the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, raided 2 venues:

* Location 1: B9 club, located in Kbal Spean 1 Village, Sangkat O’Chrov, Poipet City.
Police arrested a total of 48 suspects, 20 females, including five Indonesian nationals, after the force inspected the upstairs room with 4 rooms. Police seized an amount of drugs

* Location 2: Lamborghini brand KTV at Samaki Meanchey village, Sangkat O’Chrov, Poipet city. Police arrested a total of 124 people, 57 females, 63 foreigners. Police seized a large amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
