My wife just finished reading a book about owls and suggested I do an oil painting of an owl. I selected a screech owl since they are native to Virginia and sometimes we can hear them at night. This is painted on an 8"x 10" stretched canvas. Owls are sure easier to paint from a photo than to find them at night where we live. This image is for sale.
