Another dreary day so I skipped the parade and went for a walk to Proleek Dolmen.
This Proleek portal tomb is said to be one of the most photographed dolmens in Ireland. Standing at around 3.5 metres, the weighs at least 35 tons.
A local tradition is that if anyone can succeed in throwing pebbles that stay on the top of the capstone, will be married within the year.
