For people of a certain age, 1956, The Green Door:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg7l7UEYMOI

Midnight one more night without sleeping
Watching 'til that morning comes creeping
Green Door what's that secret your keeping?
There's an old piano and they play it hot behind the green door (Green door)
Don't know what they're doing but they laugh a lot behind the green door (Ooh, green door)
Wish they'd let me in so I could find out what's behind the green door (Green door)
Knocked once tried to tell 'em I'd been there
Door slammed hospitality's thin there
Wondering just what's going on in there
Saw an eyeball peep in through a smoky cloud behind the green door (Green door)
When I said Joe sent me some one laughed out loud behind the green door (Ooh, green door)
All I want to do is join the happy crowd behind the green door (Green door)

Paul - it is very straightforward mask and color blend in Photoshop.

I suspect if you selected the cutouts and panels in the red door that are currently washed out you might be able to….. Paul

So what's behind the green door?

I did not mean to put one over on anyone, or fool people...but both doors are green, I de-saturated the left door and used the paint bucket to turn it red...it is still not the red I wanted, but is close to a hellish entry...lol

I was getting an oil change with nothing to do with the rain outside...however, I do have some connection to All Souls in being the Godfather to two baptisms of two babies in this church, adults now of course. Best Wishes, Traveller

I've just looked on my Dell monitor (attached to my Mac Mini), and it looks pretty much the same as on my MacBook. The green looks good, but the red seems oversaturated, to me at least. But the green is what matters for this challenge, so I think it's fine. Nice capture.

The green is better on my MacBook now, but the red seems pretty saturated. I'll check it on my Dell monitor, to see whether that makes a difference.

Re reds - I remember my G2 - the Canons always seemed to produce high saturation reds.

Ahhh. The Green Door is much much better. The Red better as well.

I've taken the red down a notch, the green up a couple of notches....Maybe too much. Let me go. Traveller

T - I am viewing it on my calibrated monitor.
You should use a touch of Photoshop to enhance the green some in the door.
And the red door appears almost over saturated to me.

This is true...but it depends on the screen for me....last night it was fine on the upstairs screens...today, downstairs, work computer and chromebook, yes, looking too blackish. Busy, busy,I will eventually look into this. Traveller

The red door is the eye grabber. The 2nd door is almost black - I have to look real close to see the green tone.
