I love everything about this picture, from the photography, the mood, the lighting, to the title. The carnival is over, and she seems to feel like nothing but a lost soul in Venice. The only bright colour under the dim street lamp is her costume. The only man in sight is the street sweeper. As he approaches in her direction, everything will be swept away, the fun, the joy, the excitement and the glamour of the carnival.
