This hawk was sitting down in our front yard so I decided to go out and try to photograph it. I was sure it would take off before I could even retrieve my camera and head back out. Amazingly, not only did it stay put, but, it let me get within 10 or 12 feet of it before it finally took off. Best looks ever of a sharpie!
