We went up to Dahlonega, Georgia for an outing today. This is a town which experienced a gold rush about 200 years ago. We did a little rock sifting at one of the mines which was very fun. The best thing was the Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery. We had a flight of wines which were pretty good. We also had a mountain of food which was shared around the table. There were flat breads, charcuterie, chips and dips, a soft pretzel and a panini. It was all very good. We had a very enjoyable time with all of us in big chairs and sofas around a coffee table.
