We are preparing for a trip east to see David and Robert as well as visit a couple friends along the way. Tomorrow we are staying with Paul and Karen in Covington, LA. Ginny and Karen have a mutual interest in gardening. Ginny loves to trade plants around. She brought home some Canna lilies las week which got installed along the fence in the back yard. Today she was busy digging up some hidden ginger to take to Karen. Karen has been the recipient of these type plants before and she has had great luck getting them to bloom. For some reason they don't bloom for Ginny so she dug up all the rest of them to give to Karen. Today's photo is of Ginny busy excavating the ginger plants.
