I want to give you all a Della update.
First of all thank you all for your kind wishes for her.
We have her on a schedule of fluids every other day which we can do at home.
We have discovered she likes fish…only she likes her fish cooked where as Tug used to eat it raw at the beach!
Della is too refined to do such a thing.
She seems comfortable and happy and that makes me happy.
Not as happy as I could be if I wasn’t sick.
My little Thanksgiving visitor had a case of RSV while he was here and while he is back in D.C. and doing okay I have been sick since Friday night.
I am finally feeling a bit better tonight and wanted to share some artwork my friend did.
I wanted a piece of artwork that had all four of the Aussies we have had in one scene.
I thought four Aussies, Fab Four, my all time favorite band and bingo, my idea for a piece of artwork with all four dogs.
If I had photoshop skills I guess I could have put something like this together using my photos.
But I don’t have those kind of skills.
I asked my friend if she was up for a challenge and she agreed to give it a try.
Della was kind enough to pose with the piece for me.


Della passed away peacefully in her own home on Dec. 6, 2023.
She had turned 15 years old in September.
She had a long and wonderful life and will be missed forever.
