Metropolitan Branch Trail

The MBT is an eight-mile-long urban trail that runs along the B&O rail line and then the Metro tracks from Maryland into the heart of DC and is very popular with cyclists and hikers. The annual DC mural festival always takes place on this part of the trail in the Eckington neighborhood.
