1936? Vern Rogers (fotabug fotos)

You Wouldn't Recognize Me Here!

This is a very early photo of me with my older sister and mother, who is sitting on the ground here. Yep, that little guy on my mother's lap is me. I was perhaps 10 months old. I was a big boy, weighing 10 pounds when I was born. The other kids I can't identify but they may have been cousins. My dear mother was born in Germany and was the best mother a person could have!

What a beautiful family portrait. Your mother is the epitome of an Earth goddess - just beautiful...her calm exudes, despite the five children and the family cat! Just so very beautiful, Vern! v.

This is a precious picture, Vern. I have such fond memories of aunt Paula….and loved her strong accent! She, and sister Rayberger (?) used to sit at the dining room table and converse in German, while drinking coffee. I loved her, and miss both her, and uncle Kenneth.
