Culminant à 1 302 mètres, le Gazon de Faing est l'un des dix plus hauts sommets des Vosges. Il descend fortement du côté alsacien, formant des parois rocheuses accidentées et des affleurements rocheux.

The Gazon de Faing is 1,302 meters high and is one of the ten highest peaks in the Vosges. It drops steeply on the Alsace side, forming rugged rock faces and rocky outcrops.
