gluckspilz

amanita muscaria is known in Germany as a gluckspilz, as finding one suggests good luck in the coming year...presumably finding two should double the chances of good fortune ahead

surprisingly these were spotted along a residential street and not in any magic forest

Toxic and psychotropic ... So the "Good luck" should refer to those who avoid ingesting them despite their very attractive color... Great image of them, with gorgeous colors and sharp details.

Wow, these are striking. We don't often see these red ones here, ours are yellow. This is a magical shot, toadstools from fairy tales! Great shot of them.

Actually, the word Glückspilz does not refer to any particular mushroom. What you have here are Fliegenpilze. They are beautiful specimens and very well photographed.
