Stuck in the Middle

Madera Canyon, AZ

A very large pile of boulders on the hillside. This one rock in the middle showed some different chemical coloring. I just enhanced it for this challenge.

Guest - I thought of adding some etching of clowns and rocks to the neighboring rocks via AI. If I do that, that version goes to Exhibition. Jim

That is not human spray paint vandalism. The enhancement involved use of Photoshop where I shifted hues a bit, greatly bumped up saturation of some colors, and enhanced the luminescence (brightness) of other colors. Look at the boulders 2 to the left, and you will see some greens and blues - most of this is probably lichen. Lots to work with. Jim

Oh, that's not spray paint or something? How did you bring out the natural colors of the boulders chemical composition? Very effective...maybe even in a scientific way? Best Wishes, Traveller
