Located on the Costa Brava, Roses Bay spans between the Cap de Creus and the Montgrí Massif. Since 2011, it has been part of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, a distinction with the Unesco endorsement currently awarded to only thirty bays and that recognizes the tourist, landscape and cultural values of this environment formed by the municipalities of l'Escala, Sant Pere Pescador, Castelló d'Empúries and Roses.Nowadays, the Bay offers more than 45 km of beaches, 15 kms of coves and 50 kms of navigable canals. The coast boasts from cliffs to small calm and clear water coves merging with the softest shores on the Costa Brava. The beaches on the Bay are characterized by shallow waters, suitable for families and for sailing.
