Port de Soller is a small village and port, situated in a large horshoe bay, on the west coast of Mallorca island.
Its isolated location at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana was the reason it was one of the island's best-kept secrets and a difficult place to get, until the 1990s, when the Soller tunnel was opened.
As a result, it remained a charming little port, with the seafront being tastefully redeveloped, and with endless stretch of many cafes, restaurants and small hotels along the cars' free promenade.
