Backstory: I was replacing my outdoors sillcock since the existing one needed 4 full rotations for full water flow to a 1/4 turn faucet. It’s on the corner of my home so space is very limited to the point I needed to use a metal heat shield to protect the framing and insulation behind it. Typically I use a inspection mirror to see the backside if there isn’t access but I couldn’t find it so I relied on my phone camera to see the backside of the joint to verify enough solder had been applied before I let it cool down and wipe off the flux.
I didn’t realize I was in the photo until I checked the solder flow.
