Monsoon Rain

Quail Creek, AZ

And it rained
It was nothing really new
And it blew
We've seen all that before
And it poured
The earth began to strain
Pontchartrain
Leaking through the door
Tides at war

T - this is the output from the phone. I took the photo with the Lightroom Mobile app controlling the camera. I had the photo style set to HDR and a .dng (raw) output.

But remember, all these "smart" phones take multiple shots, store them in a buffer, and then combine them in software to get the desired output. It wouldn't surprise me that one of the captured shots was a 1/2000 sec (not 1/20000 sec) but then it was combined with 6-10 or more fast shots taken in succession. In 2017 (6 years ag) they said the hdr was a combo of 3 .dngs; but they never said how many shots made on dng.
I view it as a meaningless number, as is the f/1.6

I presume that the Tv value is...incorrect...a shutter speed that fast would certainly freeze any rain drops wouldn't it? 1/20000s not true? What do others think? Traveller

That little red object is the side view of a metal little " flower" that spins in the wind.
It is inside the fence.
If this photo was a "keeper" it would probably disappear someday.

I assume the rain was more than welcome, it certainly is here.
I’m curious what that red object is that appears to be outside the fence half way between the two left brick pillars? Paul
