Bella isn't thrilled that today's high temperature beat the Record High for a new record.
But that still didn't slow her down from wanting to play outside.
We had to insist she come back inside to the safety of air-conditioning.

I saw Lumpy today for the first time in over a week. She wasn't moving very fast and didn't stay out long. This extended heat wave has been hard on everyone and everything. The local news said that roads are buckling, and foundations of homes are cracking.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the hottest day yet (in this long, current heat wave) with actual tempts exceeding 103; plus, another brutal Heat Index.
