After 4 months of living with my son and his family to help out while my daughter-in-law recovered from surgery, I am finally back home.
Early on, in May, I was able to get away to my hometown for my high school class reunion.
While there, I took a walk over to re-visit Sutter's Fort. I attended high school for the first 2 years across the street from the fort and the church attached to the school is where I eventually got married.
It was a nostalgia tour to walk around the grounds and neighborhood again.
