We celebrated out 49th anniversary at Ginny's favorite restaurant, Merlion which is a Thai place. Our son Robert gave us a big gift certificate and we used it all up. We had appetizers, salads, curry entrees and a cream cheese frosted spice cake for dessert. Also a whole bottle of wine. They gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to take home. We seldom eat at fine dining establishments, so we decided on the full boat. It was terrific. The dinner conversation was all about where we should travel next year. No decisions yet but a lot of good ideas on the table.
