Toffee spent International Cat Day in the vets.
He's back home with lots of medicine and seems to be doing much better.

Oh damn! I hope he'll be OK. Another puss of similar vintage was at the vet yesterday for X rays; she tore part, but not thankfully all, of her Achilles tendon in her back right leg. Surgery is pretty much out of the question for an almost 18 year old and thankfully isn't needed since the tear isn't complete. Like the Toffmeister (who looks like he's lost a bit of weight, unless it's just the angle) she's got a few extra meds to add as well.
Much as I don't want to think about it, I know that the clock is ticking... but to quote from Gladiator, "Not yet. Not yet..."
