Rivendell

Concord, NSW, Australia

P1022727-Ext-Resize.jpg

This building was completed in 1891 for the use of working class people to recover from long term illnesses. It is on the southern bank of the Parramatta River and has a pier to allow ferries to bring people to this location. It was later used as a convalescent hospital after WW1 to aid Australian soldiers recover from war wounds, both physical and mental.
Now used by the NSW Dept of Education as a teaching location for children with special needs.

The winter sun in Sydney has great clarity but not harsh like the summer sun. The winter air is normally clear of dust, smoke & haze.

This image is 3 images stitched with transform correction & AI Replace function on both bottom corners. A white tent & sign was removed in PS Beta v25.0 with AI Replace function. For this image, it worked very well with no additional cleanup required.
