A flock of raucous crows came to the oaks in my neighborhood yesterday and raised hell all afternoon and into the evening. The sun was getting low before I discovered what was going on. The crows found a fledgling great horned owl and were making it miserable, squawking, diving, even pecking at it. The crows left when I came back with my camera but the owl remained until dark.
