The plans were produced by the architect J.C. Disqueux : His idea is to construct a building over the spring which would supply the wash house on the ground floor and to have 3 arcadesopening to the main street. It was not built as the funds were appropriated by the Emperor Napoléon for his military campains. In 1827, Louis Moreau built the town hall wash house following the Disqueux original designs.
