So I stopped at a rest stop on Interstate I-85S somewhere. In the few moments I was
there apparently a car exited the rest stop and pulled in front of a semi truck. The truck
pulled hard left to avoid it and rolled over on it's side into the left lane and shoulder.
It then slid several hundred feet down the road until it ground to a stop. It crushed the guard
rail and scored the road. I pulled out of the rest stop just in time to beat the traffic
slow down and before the police and other first responders arrived and stopped the traffic on the road.
As traffic slowed to go by the truck and debris I pulled out my iphone and pointed it out the window and
got this picture. I did not see signs of injuries but then it JUST happened, so I don't know for sure.
All I do know for sure is that I missed a significant traffic backup by just a few moments.
