When we arrived in Mammoth Hot Springs, it was a dark morning with steady rain. Adding to the rain the wind was blowing the steam across the springs. To say the least it was not the best photography conditions but at least we had rain covers for our cameras. Except for this couple walking the boardwalk, we had the place to ourselves. A very different look than with clear weather but you take what the weather gives you on trips like this.
