15 Pest Exclusion Service

Helping and teaching friend in need with rodent/pest control. We are fortunate that we’ve never in the 38 years we’ve lived in this home had a rodent enter the house. I’ve worked hard sealing up potential entry points and apparently it’s worked. In my career I worked side by side with numerous other professionals and got to see and learn some of their secrets as they did their jobs.

I hate to be cruel, but Strike soft Bait, RatX throw packs, d-Con...but these are dangerous also...they will not to ship to CA, so I buy out of state for rural rat barn control....maybe Tomcat best (?), I want them dead, their vascular system destroyed so they bleed out quickly.

I have no truck with rats or mice. Traveller

It is an arduous process to eradicate and exclude those destructive little pests and the pest control guys charge a lot of money because it is labor intensive work. In this case we put this 1/8 inch screen (from Menards) along the entire base of the home with vinyl siding. Tucked 1/2 inch under the siding and bent it 90 degrees to the foundation. Used a staple gun to tack in place then used a small amount of spray crazy foam about 10 to 12 inches apart to lock it in place.

We found a few highly suspicious entry points inspecting with a flashlight and inspection mirror but choose to put the screen along the entire foundation to rule that access out since this was not a big home, 1600 sq feet.

If you Google mouse trap Monday that guy has tons of YouTube videos on pest control some of which were helpful killing mice. At least 10 using the drowning bucket method. The rest were regular traps and poison. Paul

Crap! We've got them now (mice, nesting atop the basement's suspended ceiling) and cannot figure out their entrance point(s).
